Course Overview:
This course is designed for skilled clinicians to excel in rubber dam isolation procedures and adhesive dentistry with emphasis on:
- Minimally invasive operative dental procedures
- Crown and bridge preparations
- Treating sub-gingival decay
- Bonding and cementation of restorations
- Intra-oral porcelain repairs
- Immediate dentin sealing
This 16-hour course combines both didactic and hands-on practical experience of rubber dam techniques, tooth preparation, and adhesive procedures with Dr. Victor D. Guerrero.
Educational Objectives
During the course, the participants will be trained in:
- Preparation design and clinical considerations for different restorative materials
- Bonding protocols to increase longevity of direct and indirect restorations
- Recognition and management of instruments for absolute isolation, clamp modification, and clampless technique, for different clinical scenarios
- Isolation and restorative protocols for ceramic repair and dental implant restorations
